Underground River: a new addition to the 7 wonders of the world 2012!

Finally, the most awaited tour to the new addition to the 7 wonders of the world, the Underground River in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan..

I always have these in our entire stay in Palawan.

Numerous tourists, local and foreign, visited the Underground river.

After almost 30 minutes of waiting, our boat finally arrived.

After taking a boat ride for 15 minutes, we have to walk for 5 minutes to the vicinity of the underground river.

and monkeys too! Never ever show your teeth or else monkeys will jump to you.

My daughter is smart enough never to show her teeth whenever a monkey is around!

When there is high tide, it is more difficult to enter the cave, the opening becomes even narrower.

Inside the cave is so dark..

The LED flashlight is our only light to see the surroundings of the underground river.

There are many formations above, done by the droplets of water hardened for millions of years already.

They call this a giant mushroom.

This has been a usual food when I was in my elementary days in Palawan..tastes just like a fresh shell.

My daughter tried too, she didn't like the taste..
